organic is only so nice the violent picking and cutting is enough to make me want to give up food
i don't need too much just the calories burning to keep this cruel machine moving
here comes a moment of egocentrism: why do i end up with the bruised ones? damaged goods with worms from the ground a latent fall is inevitable
god, i'm hungry god, i'm waiting standing in an orchard's filling but only a past-time
here comes a moment of egocentrism: why do i end up with the bruised ones? broken skin with the juice dripping out a latent fall is inevitable
god, i'm hungry god, i'm waiting standing in an orchard's filling but i can't save them all

i'm switching over from xanga to blogger pretty soon. i'm not much of a trendsetter, so i'm sure most people will stay on xanga; i'll keep checking xanga, but take a look at my blogger page.
an article i read about deep sea fish (such as the anglerfish) suggested very interesting mating habits.
At birth, male ceratioids are already equipped with extremely well developed olfactory organs that detect scents in the water. When he is mature, the male's digestive system degenerates, making him incapable of feeding independently, which necessitates his quickly finding a female anglerfish or else dying. The sensitive olfactory organs help the male to detect the pheromones that signal the proximity of a female anglerfish. When he finds a female, he bites into her skin, and releases an enzyme that digests the skin of his mouth and her body, fusing the pair down to the blood-vessel level. The male then atrophies into nothing more than a pair of gonads, which release sperm in response to hormones in the female's bloodstream indicating egg release. This extreme sexual dimorphism ensures that, when the female is ready to spawn, she has a mate immediately available.
(this was taken from wikipedia, so who knows how accurate this is.)
this says basically that males are not capable of living independently without being right next to a potential mate. weird.

Hey everybody who reads this, I started a myspace for any music that I'm doing as of late.
I know you've been spending your life and working very hard to become mature and make mature decisions, but all of your work has been in vain.
Maturity is knowing that "maturity" is not anything. It is not something you can have or be. It does not exist. Maturity is knowing that "maturity" is something that happens TO you when you're paying attention to the world around you.
I know you've been spending your life and working very hard to make something of yourself, but all of your work has been in vain.
You cannot be anything greater than yourself. You become the most you can be when you realize that you can't be anything more than what you are. To quote "I Heart Huckabees," "Everything you could ever want or be, you already have and are." You and your personality, skills, etc., have a natural resonance that will allow you to make the most of who you are, as long as you allow yourself to be exactly that, and as long as you allow yourself to bloom in the direction that you are taken.
I know you've been working hard to be loved, but all of your work has been in vain.
No one will ever love someone who is full of self-contempt and disrespect.
